Kayla & Patrick - Maternity

Kayla & Patrick are near and dear to my heart. They were one of my first weddings back in like 2015! I loved every minute of spending the last couple of years photographing their memories in Chicago. Especially this one! I haven’t meet their sweet girl yet. YET. I hope they come visit me since they moved away from Chicago.
It really warms my heart when I see past couples for their biggest life moments. Nothing is a bigger compliment than that.
Now mind you, this was back in April… - Im THAT behind in blogging. Its fine…

Nicole & Brett - Chicago Engagement Session

Nicole & Brett were a dream. I am SO excited for their wedding this year… especially after these photos. I mean… LOOK AT THEM! They are straight up models. Not only did we get some beautiful light… we got to go up on a ROOFTOP in Chicago. <3
To say im obsessed about this session is an understatement. Just see for yourself…

Emily & Kyle - Downtown Crown Point

UM. All couples that adopt a new puppy NEED a couples session. This was just the best.

Downtown Crown Point was the perfect backdrop for these.
SO CUTE. So adopt a puppy… and then lets have a downtown session!
Puppy kisses star in a lot of these photos. Avert your eyes if you dont want to be blinded by cuteness.

Stephanie & Michael - Michigan - Backyard Wedding

I met Stephanie & Michael about 3 weeks before their big day and I just KNEW their wedding day was going to be something amazing. When we got there I was BLOWN away by everything these two did for their wedding day. They built a greenhouse. They built ALL the tables too. I went a little insane with the detail photos. as per usual.

Victoria - Greenhouse Mini

OH. MY. GOOODNESS! Look at this chunk! Im sure you have seen these faces at a recent session from a few weeks ago. Their greenhouse session was the first time I had met them and im looking forward to their next session in a few months!! <3

Rodriguez Family

I am behind. behind. behind. on blogging. I thought 2020 was going to be different year… I think we all thought that really.. but here I am. Just a few months behind :)

I am sure glad I got to see this family again! I mean it had been a hot minute since seeing them for their Christmas mini like last year??

I just loved this newborn session.. <3

Jessica & Kyle - Couples Session

I met Jessica last year when she booked a boudoir session with me!! She lives out in Michigan and I causally mentioned I was going to stop at Round Barn to get some wine to take home since I was so close! She was like HEY! I like wine! SO thats the story about how we spent the rest of the day together! Stephanie, one of my trusted makeup artists rode up with me to the session so it was the three of us enjoying a nice couple of hours beautiful weather and wine!
Now fast forward to May of THIS year. I finally got to meet Kyle! I loved loved loved their sessionnn! It was SO fun to see a familiar face, and take pictures. Their pictures are some of my favorites! AND they brought their sweet pups! <3

Gottschalk Family - Beach Session

The first beach session of the year, did not disappoint. AT ALL.
I love this sweet family - it has been a year since I had seen them and I didnt realize how much I missed faces up until this point in quarantine… Matts face is nice and all but I missed other faces!

I just love EVERYTHING about this whole gallery. I could not even narrow down their gallery to less than 400 images, so I knew their blog would be huge as well!

Hiscox Family - Greenhouse Mini

I blinked and these kids just grew up and are now almost adults…

Its always great to see this sweet family! This was one of my favorite mini sessions! These greenhouse minis were something I could see myself doing over and over again. I just loved them!

This was just a fun session.. I loved that the kids barley looked at me and just did their thing. It was amazing. <3

Castillo Family - Greenhouse Mini

OOOOOOOH the Castillo Family… I love them dearly. I have LOVED watching little Nina grow this past year..

Greenhouse Minis were a HUGE hit this year, and im SO going to be doing these again next year! I loved them!

I am just going to leave these here… cause squishy Nina is literally the cutest.

Welbourne Family - Beach Session

Beach sessions are. my. jam. - this was one of the last ones I had last year. The sunlight was the best I have ever seen. The water was super calm. it was just a great night. I am looking forward to getting back to the beach soon!

Lorissa & Ben - Maternity Session

I feel like this was the last session I had with the sun… I am already missing sessions and weddings SO much.
Lorissa & Ben are super close to having their sweet baby girl. I am hoping I get to meet her soon! <3

The sun in these images are a perfect reminder of possible sunset sessions to come. HOPEFULLY in the next month.
Back to this beautiful session. - I mean look at how these two… I cant wait to see them with their sweet girl.
The smoke bomb at the end of the session was the best. Amazing way to end it. <3

Vivien - Fresh 48 & Lifestyle Newborn

Not long after Ryan & Liliya’s maternity session, baby Vivien popped into this world. It was such a cold day. SO cold. She was also born on my grandmas birthday ;) She was so stubborn when it came to her photo session. Every time we would start to take pictures, she would want mom and some food. We went for as long as we could before we just called it. I mean look at these facial expressions….. <3

About a week after that, I went to Ryan & Liliya’s house for a sweet lifestyle session. We timed it perfectly before sunset so we could get that beautiful golden sunlight..
I am so excited to see them again soon!

Liliya & Ryan - Maternity

Back in January I had a sweet sweet maternity session for some long time clients. It had been a few years since I have seen them. It was the greatest surprise ever when Liliya messaged me and said they were expecting. What a great day it was for their pictures. <3
I enjoyed catching up with them and talking about the new addition that was going to making her appearance.

Fletcher - Fresh 48 & Lifestyle Newborn

I wasn’t kidding when I said A LOT of babies were born so far this year! Fletcher is by far, the only baby I have ever met that had better facial expressions than me! From his fresh 48 to his sweet lifestyle session! Its been so amazing to spend time with these three as much as I have! Lynn & Gage are the sweetest people. I dont want to see this little guy grow up!

Arizona

What. A. Trip.

I don’t know how Liz talked me into doing a sunrise hot air balloon ride, but I did it.. and it was INCREDIBLE.
I am just now getting around to editing a lot of the images from my trip but its still so breathtaking.

We ended our day hanging out at the Botanical Gardens touching very sharp plants and looking at pretty butterflies.

In all seriousness. If you’re in Phoenix, I highly suggest getting in one of these baskets and floating through the air. - Look into Rainbow Ryders. Those are the only people I would fly with.

Josh & McKenzie - Aberdeen Manor - Valparaiso, Indiana

Oh Josh & McKenzie… your day was one of my favorites this year. We all know how much I love the Sim’s family. They are a constant on my page. I was honored to capture another Sim’s family memory. <3

Josh and McKenzie, your day was PERFECT. The perfect September day.
I always love when the bride and bridesmaids pop a bottle (or two!) of champagne. The pictures are super fun and cute! McKenzie was super excited for this part! AND she got to feed the family cows <3

I could go on and on about their love and how happy I am for them. They are the sweetest. So I will just send you to the photos. The reason why you are here anyway!
Also, tell Trish what a beautiful house she has… :) She doesn’t hear it enough from me…

The Jensen Family - North Ave Beach

I was so excited to meet the Jensen family just a few weeks ago! Hayley wanted a session in Chicago before they moved later this year. This session was CRAZY! We got about 35 minutes into the session and some FOG rolled in. It was the coolest thing. I absolutely loved this session. Loved this family. I wish them all the best in their new adventure!
