I was so happy to meet Taylor & Tyler for their sweet maternity session. The weather and sunlight could not have been more perfect. I absolutely love sessions that run late because we are too busy chatting and having a fun time. I felt like I had known these two for years after we got done.
Sessions like these are why I love my job <3

Anacelia & Blake had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend wedding with their closest friends and family. Still one of my favorite days last year, where I swooned almost all day.
Two sweet souls who were just happy to be officially married!
They say the friends you have in college will be the friends you have for the rest of your life. I think these three will for sure be friends for a lifetime. I loved hanging out with these ladies and capturing a memory that can last that lifetime. Congrats on your accomplishments ladies! I can’t wait to see where this new career takes you!

Kaitlin & Corey are always the life of the party wherever they go so we knew they would throw an absolutely amazing party for their friends and family. This was one of my favorite wedding days.. they didnt let the rain dampen their day. They got married right there in the rain, and all those rain drops mixed with some tears of happiness for these two.
One thing I love about being a wedding photographer, is the referrals.. a lot of these people at this wedding are past and current clients. Which just always warms my heart when I see so many people I know and love at weddings. <3
There is nothing like spring in NWI. This was hands down one of my favorite sessions… with some of my favorite people. Watching these two girls grow has been, amazing! Their personalities are, beyond incredible and so different from each other.
This session gives me life and if I could plaster these all over my walls, I would. <3
One of my first fresh 48 sessions after covid shut the hospitals down to visitors. And it was a goooood one. Sweet little Braeden was a gem. Sleeping only when he felt like he wasn’t going to miss something.
A few days later we did his newborn photos and I couldn’t have loved these anymore. I mean… the LIGHT. It was a beautiful morning and I couldn’t get enough of this yawning babe.
This family is a familiar one to this page. - I love love love seeing these guys every year. I am always so shocked at how big the boys get every time. The are turning into little men right before my eyes.
Hudson loved his cake and enjoyed playing ball with his toys with his big bro <3
Paige & Virgil - and their pups Art & Ernie kicked off busy season this year and I wouldn’t have asked for a better start! The light was INSANE. I just shot their wedding this past weekend and I can’t wait to share those too!!

Corinne is a familiar face around here. She has been in a few weddings I have photographed lately! When she reached out and wanted to do maternity photos I was DYING. I mean… just look at these two!
When she said she wanted to do a lifestyle session I died a little more.
Second newborn sesh of the year. SO super sweet.
I absolutely love when wedding clients come back for more photos later in life. Like for maternity and newborn sessions. I mean… its like the biggest compliment when past couples want to see me again.
Little miss Harper was the sweetest - even though so made me work for all the sleepy photos.
She has two puppy siblings who just adored her as well!
Stacy has been a childhood best friend, well since we were babies. Our moms were friends and that made us friends too! We even worked at the same place together for a year or so!
I was so excited when she reached out to me and wanted ME to photograph her wedding. I was elated, over the moon, so excited.
Stacy & Jon wanted snow for their wedding day, and by golly they got it! The two days before we had a HUGE snow storm roll in. So a few fresh inches made for a beautiful backdrop. White Oak venue is beautiful in the winter. <3
Haley & Michael were my first wedding of the year and boy did we have a BLAST. I was so excited to get into the newly built Allure on the Lake! They were the second wedding that opening weekend. It was insane to see how amazing everything looked.
Haley & Michael booked a steamy beach mini with me last year, but we ended up doing a creek mini because the beach decided it was going to have toxic materials in the water that day so the beach was closed. We made due with what we had, and it was a blast. They asked me about photographing their super small wedding day and I was SO excited. We had a blast at their session and I just knew their wedding day was going to be special.
These two are perfect for each other, and are now expecting their first little babe. <3

I can’t believe im just now getting to blog some sessions/weddings from the first half of the year.
I wanted to start with one of my first newborn sessions of the year!
Emily was a peach for her newborn session. She didn’t make a peep. Except when she tried to bite me mid session. She was over my shenanigans. But I mean she was SO adorable I couldn’t stopppp. Her cheeks were just SO squishy.
Her mom and dad are completely and utterly in love with her. <3
When a client wants to fly you out to photograph their engagement session in a National Park the answer is always yes. ALWAYS. yes. Especially in Colorado. 100000%
Thank YOU Shelby & Anthony for having us come to Colorado for this. I am so thankful for this experience.
Matt and I were able to make a little vacation out of it, which made it even better. We had a blast driving our rented Jeep Wrangler around the National Park to scope out locations.
Im so glad we made this session for sunrise, because there was NO sunset and it started to snow that afternoon stay tuned for snowy mountain pics they are my fave. We saw about 3 different seasons in a span of 3 hours. it was crazyyy. Cold, hot, back to cold.
I loved everything about this sesh. I will just let the photos speak for themselves. I have never been so happy to be up at 4am to drive into the mountains…. and see 1838 deer.

One of my favorite weddings to date! Kelli & Jordan already had a small celebration with just family before this.. if my memory serves me right, on a beach in Hawaii! But they still wanted to celebrate with the rest of their friends and family.
Sandy Pines is a forever favorite venue. The atmosphere, the people who work there, and the grounds are all amazing.
Every wedding last year made me love detail photos more and more. If thats possible. Im obsessed.
Aberdeen is always a favorite venue, especially in October <3
I absolutely loved getting to know Lauren & Derek and spending their big day with them! This was such a great day.
Lauren & Derek rocked their engagement session, and I knew we would have 10 times more fun on their wedding day. Even though we had a little rain, the colors were popping and we still got their outdoor photos! <3
Okay, engagement sessions are low key some of my favorites… I love getting to know my couples ill be working with later in the year or even a year from now. You get to feel more comfortable with the posing and learn more about me. I even feel more comfortable arriving on your wedding day, knowing you and having already seen your face.
Paige & John are getting married at one of my favorite favorite FAVORITE venues in NWI this May and their engagement session last year was one for the books.
The clouds rolled in right before their session and I was like “aw man” then the sun came out halfway through and they got to see me do some weird happy dance thing.
Their chemistry was off the charts and I cant wait for golden hour on their wedding day. Its going to be STUNNING.
When Alarie & I talked on the phone before they booked with me, I felt like I was talking to a long lost friend from high school. The conversation flowed so easily I knew right then if I didnt book their wedding I would cry and this would be the one that got away.
Their day did not disappoint. They kept things small, intimate and made sure it was a day they could look back on and be happy with. Just their family and close friends. The people who matter most. <3
It was one for the books. I loved everything about their day.

This took place last August but it was for sure one of my favorite sessions with some of my favorite people. I love these two come to me once or twice a year still even after their wedding 2 ish years ago.. Right guys 2 years ago you got married? I lost track of time.
Anywho. I had a vision for this session and they just jumped at the chance. They are always so easy in front of the camera - they are naturals now. SO happy they are stuck with me <3
